Hospitality events over $10,000
All 166 hospitality events whose total is above $10,000. Under Appendix B of the Directive on Travel, Hospitality, Conference and Event Expenditures (in effect since April 1, 2017), section B.2.2.6.1, hospitality whose “total hospitality costs exceed $10,000” requires ministerial approval unless the minister has delegated it to the deputy head. The Directive does not apply to every organization listed here (for example, some Crown corporations follow their own policies), and its Appendix B does not apply to official hospitality outside Canada by Global Affairs Canada. This list does not say whether any approval was given; the records do not include it.
